So both of my girls celebrated their birthdays in June.
Ciella turned 5
on the 13th and
Cadence turned 3
on the 16th!
We had several little parties and the girls had an absolute blast. When I went to download the pictures from their party with Garrett's family, they had been deleted from my camera! I remember exactly when I deleted the memory card, and I thought I looked through all the pictures to make sure we had already down loaded all the new ones. I was sick to my stomach when I realized they were gone. All of Garretts family was in town over memorial day weekend so we had their party early so all the family could celebrate with the girls!Our present to the girls was a rented bounce house. They had so much fun, we rented it for the whole day (11 am to 7 pm) and they played with their cousins ALL DAY!!! I remember taking really cute pictures too! Im so sad they are gone!
here's a picture of the cake from my phone! I was practicing using gum paste. I made the crown, flowers and balls all out of gum paste. The top layer was covered in fondant I made from scratch, it turned out ok for the picture but I think I need way more practice making my own fondant! The top cake was chocolate fudge and the bottom layer was red velvet! So good!
Then the week of the girls actual birthday we had a little party with my family and a close friend and her boys came too! I made mini chocolate cupcakes so each kid could have more then 1. I found a pretty big pinata at Sams Club marked down to 7 bucks, so we had fun beating that thing! The kids had pizza for their birthday lunch and then went swimming! Ciella picked out her favorite ice cream, cookie dough for all her friends and cousins!!

-these girls are an absolute RIOT! they run all over the house singing and dancing most days! Ciella says she wants "to sing, on a stage, in front of people!" She is constantly, and I mean constantly singing! The funny thing is she wont sing any of the primary songs at church or at home. But she loves to make up her own songs!
-she loves to dance!
Here she is dancing in the middle of a water park! she does this every time we go! too funny! there is music its just really hard to hear. She was burning her feet hence the float she is standing on! Cadence even joins in at the end, but then gets embarrassed!
-She is always playing house of some kind. It doesn't matter to her if she has barbies, little princesses, or any kind of food turned people, including pretzels, she has a mom, a dad- a whole family. She names them all really weird names she makes up like "flower-Leesa."
-She is doing great in her swimming lessons and after just a few days she is putting her head under the water and holding her breathe while she swims! we got season pass's to the local water park and she asks to go there almost everyday!-these girls are an absolute RIOT! they run all over the house singing and dancing most days! -she gets a crush on boys really easy, and talks about them for days after!
-she is becoming a daddy's girl, and doesn't want me as much any more
-on a regular basis she tells me she's ready for me to have another baby!
- to say she is dramatic would be a huge understatment!

- her favorite colors are blue and purple!
-her favorite place to spend time is at the beach or with her grandma's and grandpa's
-her favorite foods are hot dogs, freshly cooked tortillas, pizza, yogurt, American cheese, pretzels, spaghetti, anything similar to spaghetti for sure, lunch meats all by themselves, watermelon and hamburgers!
-She loves to watch me cook and make desserts. the other day while preparing for a catering job, I was in the kitchen making french macarons. she came in and asked what I was doing and before I could say anything she said,"I know mom, your making macarons!"
-Her favorite movies are Despicable Me and Tangled which she quotes often!
- she is a bit of a follower, so she usually plays well with others.
Cadence-
-she basically wants to do anything, eat anything, be anything, be any where Ciella is!
Isnt that a true younger sibling! She absolutely LOVES Ciella.
-yet she is such a bully and can take ciella to the ground in a fight in a matter of seconds!
-she calls Ciella, "cell-ie"
-she loves the beach and playing in the sand!
-she loves mermaids and find all the ones we have in our house and carries them any where she goes!
-her favorite foods are "gril cheese", bread, pizza, spaghetti and freshly made tortilla's.
-her favorite movies are Tangled and Tinker Bell
-she is a total Daddy's girl! and has been since birth!
-she LOVES to sing and copies anything Ciella sings!

Too funny! She even has her vibrato (shaky voice )down, I love it!!!!
-I doubt she weighs over 27 lbs.
-if Ciella doesn't like it, Cadence doesn't either!
-she sneaks into our bed at night still and cuddles up to my back. We have a king bed now so its normally no biggie and secretly Garrett and I both LOVE to baby her (I think cuz she is still so small) so we don't mind!! But she loves to sleep and cuddle with us!
-she still takes a nap on occasion, usually we wont be able to find her for a few minutes then we check her room and she has crawled up in her bed and is sound asleep. BUT if she naps during the day she will be wide awake at 10 pm!
-she is still so petite, today she is in 12 month shorts- and she is 3!!!!!!
-she is the rebellious kid already. if i tell her not to go in the street, she marches right up to the edge between the sidewalk and the street and puts her toes right on the line that divides them and then points out how she's not in the road!
- and when around the right people, she always seems to find trouble!
-she was potty trained at 2 and did fine in Buffalo before we moved, but moving has been hard on her and she is finally getting done with accidents!
-she is very stubborn and it took some changes in our parenting style between her and Ciella to figure out the best way to deal with a mad or unwilling kid!
-she LOVES cereal and would eat it all day if I would let her!
-she is so goofy like garrett and makes the funniest faces!
We just love these sweet faces so much! Happy Birthday to my beautiful girls!!!!
